Our Free Entry Comedy Nights

Here at Derby Comedy we host regular free entry comedy nights, where you can pick up tickets for absolutely nothing (or you can pay a few quid in advance to support us). At the end of the night we also have a card reader & a bucket for donation with people want to contributed, however no-one is ever obliged to do so, we fully support anyone wanting to come and enjoy some live comedy regardless of your budget/circumstances!

There are 2 main nights we run they are:

Ram Comedy Club is our super popular free monthly night that takes place on the third Wednesday of each month in the 80 seater function room at The Courtyard on Friar Gate.

Expect some of the best upcoming, local and professional comedians for the best free entry comedy night in the city!

Lamb Comedy Club is our smaller open mic comedy night that runs 2 or 3 Tuesdays a month in the upstairs 30 seater function room at The Royal Standard.

This is true open mic, where truly anyone can ‘have a go’ and take part. Audiences can never know what to expect (and neither can we!), the magic of proper open mic comedy.
